As a co-founder of BDPA's Temple University Student Chapter in 1983, Carter has held multiple  leadership  roles  across  the Association's various local chapter

As a co-founder of BDPA's Temple University Student Chapter in 1983, Carter has held multiple  leadership  roles  across  the Association's various local chapter and national committees to include 1990 Conference Chair, Communications Committee Chair, Regional Vice President, and chapter leadership roles.

 Whether it’s capturing new impact investments in workforce upskilling development, identifying resources to promote and produce community technology events, supporting local BDPA Chapter publications, co-sponsoring HSCC competitions, advocating for increased JROTC cybersecurity engagements, or developing local BDPA Chapter economic development initiatives, Perry has worked tirelessly as a BDPA leader to advocate on behalf of small businesses, start-ups, and HBCUs/MSIs. His teams continue to successfully deliver services and publications with outcomes for BDPA Members, mission-partners, sponsors, and stakeholders at every level of our emerging association.
